Within BBS, the lab is formally listed as part of the MCGD and Neuroscience tracks. However, students can enter the lab from any part of the BBS program.

Tracks:

  • Molecular Cell Biology, Genetics and Development (MCGD)
  • Neuroscience

Research Areas:

MCGD:

  • Cytoskeleton and Cell Morphogenesis
  • Developmental Biology
  • Neurobiology
  • Receptors and Signal Transduction

Neuroscience:

  • Development
  • Behavioral and Systems
  • Axon Guidance
  • Molecular/Cellular Neuroscience

Students interested in learning more about the lab should contact Marc Hammarlund to discuss rotation availability and potential projects.
